Tanzip Zipline Tour
Experience the thrill of flying through the African sky! Zip between majestic baobab trees while taking in the stunning scenery of Tanzania. The zipline course has 4 exciting zips, and 5 unique eco-platforms. The tour starts at the Tanzip office in Mto wa Mbu where you will have a safety orientation and be fitted with your harness. A short ride will take you through maasailand to the Tanzip Zipline Adventure park! Your tour will be completed when you are delivered back at the Tanzip office where you can relax with a cold bevvy in the Tanzip Cafe!
Hike at Lake Miwaleni (with optional waterfall trek)
A beautiful hike from Tanzip to the picturesque Lake Miwaleni. Hike around the lake learning about the wetlands and the area. This hike is not difficult but the terrain is uneven. The waterfall trek is gorgeous, but a little more challenging.

Hike to the Rift Valley Plateau
Take half a day to hike from Mto wa Mbu village up the wall of the great rift valley to the plateau above. You will pass through town, banana plantations, natural forest, baobab trees, and a semi- arid landscape. The panaromic view at the top is worth the climb! This hike has a large elevation gain, and is moderately physically challenging.
Dhow Canoe ride on Lake Manyara
This tour starts with a bike ride or short walk to the lakeside where you will experience a chauffeured canoe ride in a traditional dhow (Tanzanian wooden fishing boat). Enjoy the unique water experience for 30- 60 mins. This memorable tour takes 2-3 hours in total.
Tinga Tinga Paint Class
Take 2-3 hours and create your own Tinga Tinga painting to take home. A local artist provides all the materials and guides you step-step through your painting, while you enjoy a beverage of your choice and the village environment!
